BIRDING FROM BORTH STATION

Having had a close encounter with a male Marsh Harrier at Ynyslas, by the mouth of the Leri, but failing to see the Lapland Bunting present earlier in the morning, my New Year's Day birding continued at the Clettwr where 4 Dippers showed well. The day eventually concluded on the platform at Borth station from where a ringtail and male Hen Harrier and Barn Owl were seen. (My good friend Harry Pepper always rates it as a good spot.)
