Goshawk and Jackdaws

My eye was caught by some spectacular aerobatics by the pre-roost Jackdaw flock over Penrhyncoch football field this evening; then I saw they were mobbing a male Goshawk - which made the occasional dive at them before circling up higher and heading off south.  I presume this is the same bird that flew fast and low over our house last Monday evening (25 July), carrying a dead Jackdaw and closely pursued by the remainder of the flock, all screaming their fury at it!
