PENDERI

Bob and I paid a visit to the cliffs at Penderi, south of Aberystwyth this afternoon. A few Cormorants were still on their nests and plenty of Herring Gulls and a pair of Great Black-backed Gulls had young. A male Kestrel stayed in the vicinity.
Of the numerous butterflies about, one in particular caught our attention and we think it was a Silver-washed Fritillary. Any comments from those much more expert than us?
