Lapwings and Kestrels

In the fields west of our house on the uplands south of Tyn-y-Graig, 126 Lapwing and about 50 Golden Plover. Lapwings highest count I’ve ever recorded there.

On my way to London I saw 7 Kestrels, one just south of Pontrhydfendigaid, one on the border with Powys on the mountain road (also a pair of Stonechats high on the moor) and the rest at regular intervals in England.
