The evening light was fabulous on the bog and even better was the sight of a Shortie hunting over the glowing molinia followed soon after by the regular 2 Harriers I've been watching.
The day started up at Coed Dolgoed or Coed Y Bont as it is now to be known (Pontrhydfendigaid (Bont) community woodland) with flights of wood pigeons and thrushes against the dawn glow over the Teifi hills and a Marsh Tit inhabiting its regular patch at the top of the wood but finished with its little mate the willow tit feeding around the carved arch in the similar orange glow of dusk.
In between was the packaging of lots of Kite Trust cards, great bargains to be had! 01974 299166: the order hotline, see Welsh Kite Trust website for pics and official order form.
Did anyone else get an email from Bob supposedly in dire straits and needing immediate transfer of funds? Don't believe a word of it, send him a Kite Trust Xmas card instead.
