Ynyslas - Leri

Very high morning tide today - the estuary a real sea with the water right up to the dunes. Not a bird to be seen except for some indeterminate duck way up the estuary. About an hour after high water as the saltings were exposed the odd Redshankand Curlew dropped in to feed in the pools, a Shelduck surveyed the scene and a Little Egret flew across in the distance otherwise a very quiet morning.
