Bob abd I heaed south today, calling in at Aberaeron where 11 Golden Plovers and a couple of Turnstone were on the foreshore.
At the Teifi estuary the wintering Common Sandpiper was opposite the old Jewsons site. Downstream were 3 Black-tailed Godwits, 35 Redshanks and 5 Little Egrets, all on the Ceredigion side.
At the Teifi marshes, on the wrong side of the county line, we heard at least 3 Cetti's Warblers and had a good view of a Water Rail and an Otter. A few Swallows and Sand Martins were overhead. A Blackcap was singing by the car park.
