I see from the bird blog that someone has spotted a pair of chough at Ynys Las so I thought you would like to know that they are still there. Today (Monday 28th) my husband Peter and I walked past the visitor centre and along the boardwalk. As were approached the large dune slack on the other side of the centre we saw a pair of chough busy feeding. We were able to get fantastic views of them probing the soil, they were only about 20 feet away and didn't seem bothered by us. They flew off when a large group of people came by only to fly back again. Judging by the disturbance of the soil in the slack they have found a good food source. It was well worth braving the icy wind to see them.
