This afternoon at Ynyslas I was treated to another wonderful sighting of a male Hen Harrier.
He floated over the saltings close to Aberleri, heading south. With the sun behind me I was able to see him very well. A few minuted later I picked him up again close to the railway line to the north.
There were a few Curlew, Redshank and Wigeon about but not much else.
