A late post thanks to Windoze problems.
Chough - a pair has been hanging round the dune slack next to the bit fenced off for ringed plovers not to breed in since Sunday.
Purple sandpipers - on Monday 2 by the wooden jetty in Aber about midday, and 3 under the cliffs at Upper Borth about 2 pm with the oystercatchers.
Barn owl - by the caravan site at dusk on Sunday
Today at Cwmrheidol 3 pale buzzards, 2 as in previous post plus this one, not quite as leucistic as the other 2. Also ring-necked duck spotted by John swam round in circles in the middle of the lake for 3 hours. If anyone has an 800mm lens it would be the proverbial sitting duck, but since I can't see Santa fitting that paricular lens down the chimney I will have to make do with the record shot.
