What a shame you had to cancel your trip to Teify Marches on Sunday, I hope that you can get down there again soon,but not in the snow unfortunately.
Today I was in Park Avenue by the public toilets when I heared an incredibly loud bird sound,even though the traffic was passing.It sounded metalic and reminded me of an old wheel in need of some oil.It seemed to be coming from the opposite side of the road. I crossed over to see that it was a Great Tit in the Cherry tree. I don't think I have ever heared such persistant bird call.He was still at it when I eventually walked off.The exceptionally cold weather had give way to what must be spring like temperatures to our feathered friends .It seemed like summer to me.
