Buster and me went along the Clettwr this morning and were delighted to see a Dipper and Kingfisher as soon as we parked our car by the foot-bridge. We walked to the railway bridge and back and along the way saw c500 Lapwing and various other species you might expect to see there, most of them though "2010 ticks"!
Later, we saw a Whooper Swan at Ynyslas, not a bird I've seen there before.
It's a bit more get-at-able for me than the Whoopers in other parts of the county, I wonder if it will stay there for a while?
