I had a report from the Mid-Cheshire Ornithological Society group who spent a weekend over here and it was a party of their members I met at Ynyslas on Sunday.
Before leaving for Ynys-hir they saw the female Scaup on the Leri.The day before, they noted Little Egret, Woodcock and male Hen Harrier at Cors Caron and 3 Crossbills at The Arch. Given the paucity of Crossbill sightings in recent months I think they did rather well.
