Sightings from Chris Bird

This afternoon, a distant view of a Great Northern Diver off Aberystwyth. Later, the leucistic Common Gull arrived at the gull roost off College Rocks.
Earlier, 4 adult and 2 juv Whooper Swans on Llyn Blaenmelindwr and 4 Goldeneye on nearby Llyn Syfydrin.
My guests and I watched the Starling roost at the pier at Aberystwyth. Very spectacular today with the bonus of a Peregine which caught its supper.
Female Scaup still on the Leri at Ynyslas and the 6 dark-bellied Brent Geese still nearby on the Dyfi. Plenty of Fieldfares on the meadows between The Turn and the Leri plus several Skylarks and a few Redwings.
