Ynys-hir
The first swift was seen yesterday with reed warbler newly arrived this morning. A little ringed plover was on Lodge Farm (Morfa Cyd) along with the first lapwing chicks of the year. At least 25 Greenland wheatears passing through on the lowland wet grassland along with a few white wagtails. Redstarts seem to be everywhere this year so far with plenty of wood warblers in now; garden warblers have been in for a few days but no whinchat on the hill yet though 4 yellowhammers are singing away merrily. Only 2 common sandpipers up here at the moment; the Teifi seems to be hogging them all. Can we have a few of yours please.
