Drumming Snipe, Skylark and Cuckoo

I was at Cors Caron late yesterday evening (Sunday) around 9pm at the Ystrad Meurig end just past the river and 5 snipe were flying together and calling. They then split up and 3 started drumming in their own areas above us. Then 2 skylark rose amongst them and joined in with their singing and to top it all, a cuckoo started as well. We watched and listened for 10 minutes and they were all still at it as we left, a wonderful 'sound-scape'

I was on the Isle of Arran last week and we saw/heard a cuckoo with the '3rd' lower note. Also saw Golden Eagle but no Short Eared Owls this time
