John, I bet you had a bigger lunch than the hobby as I've only seen a couple of 4 spots until today! But they have got it right because 2 of them were hunting today and there were more dragonflies helicoptering up from the bog off to feed and get themselves into breeding condition...if they make it past the super fast and agile hobbies.
Coming in on time is our spotted fly back on its exact perch but confounded as the nest-site has changed and there is now a plethora of nooks and crannies on Bri's new shed for them to choose from!
Footnotes: dogs and Ynys Las. There is a very good leaflet for dog owners in the Vis centre which probably needs a wider distribution.
Cors Caron boardwalk: its not often that visitors have any sort of optics (but also rare to see a smoker ignoring the signs) so I was impressed by a parade including a Leica scope; didn't see where she put the fag-end!
