On our walk along the wall this morning we came across a brood of ducklings, 6 of them. There were no parents to be seen, no water either. I'm not sure what species they are, probably Mallard, anybody know for sure? They were at the foot of Foel Fawr, by the dry-stone wall with damp, boggy woodland on the other side.
