Ty Gwyn Pools today

Called in at Ty Gwyn Pools this afternoon, and was surprised to find a 1st summer Little Gull roosting alongside the Black-headeds (it flew out after about 15 mins). Also 3 Med Gulls, two of which were displaying, as was the Little Ringed Plover pair. A single Common Sandpiper was busy feeding along the pool edge. Two pairs of Shoveler appeared to be wild, unlike the 4 Pinkfeet in front of the hide!
