We went up to Pendam on Saturday night, but obviously didnt stay long enough. We left at around 9.50pm! We will go up and again and stay a little longer this time after the reports this weekend.
We had newly fledged Nuthatches at our feeders this weekend with mum and dad feeding at least two young birds. Quite a few Goldfinch and Pied Wagtail fledglings too around Ystumtuen along with lots of Linnets. The Cuckoo is still making plenty of noise. Redstarts again seen around the Henrhiew.
We saw a very pale Buzzard on the road from Penryncoch to Pendam on Saturday too. Its body was all white apart from a band on its chest.
