YSTWYTH,TRAWSGOED

Whenever I am driving across the bridge over the Ystwyth at Trawsgoed I stop to look for Dippers and am often lucky. This morning we stopped at Black Covert and walked through the woodland to the bridge and we were so lucky.
A Dipper was in view, plus a young one. A couple of Grey Wagtails and a Common Sandpiper were also on the pebbles and a Stock Dove flew low over the water. Best of all, a Goosander appeared with 10 small ducklings. Magical!
