Borth and Ynyslas

A quick look before work was rewarded at Borth with 6-7,ooo manx shearwaters with 120 gannet just off-shore. At Ynyslas there were 120 sandwich tern, 3 common tern and a dark-phase arctic skua harrying the terns. Some 300 ringed plover were on the rocks at the northern point with 210 dunlin, 34 sanderling and a group of 60 linnet. Dark clouds and rain heading in from the west meant that I was in work a bit earlier than anticipated.
