hobby cors caron

Along the eastern escarpment a hobby catching dragonflies tho' a black darter will hardly fuel a trans-continental migration!
At the same time, a juv wheatear freshly deceased on the lane(B4343, which has become a bit of a race track in recent years),gave me the chance to study its beautiful wing plumage. Blowed if I could discern a two-toned supercilium as mentioned in the new must-have 'Advanced ID of Western Palearctic Birds' but I'm not selling my copy yet! I'm pleased to read on the Pembs blog of numbers of wheatear moving through, just hope they make it back next year.
