little egret

Interestingly enough Ian Tillotson, my neighbour, who also overlooks the boardwalk at Cors Caron e-mailed me to say he had a garden first: a little egret came to roost in trees opposite his lounge window! I haven't seen one on the bog since May. We have hopes that they may breed with the nearby herons soon.
