Some sightings from the weekend.
A juvenile Peregrine Falcon was flying over the Henrhiw in Ystumtuen on Saturday, having a bit of a vocal fight with a Raven. Great sight and an area first! Usual good numbers of Red Kites and Buzzards.
Same area were the usual Kestrels with a juv.
On the feeders, lots of fledged Blue and Great Tits, Greenfinches, Chaffinches and Siskins. Nuthatches, Juv Great Spotted Woodpecker, Dunnock, Robin and Yellow Hammer. We are currently being eaten out of house and home!
Locally, lots of Linnets and Redstarts, Meadow Pipits Swallows and House Martins.
