Coast path Aberporth

A young peregrine failed repeatedly to catch one of the hundreds of auks and Manxies off PenPeles this afternoon, it then tried its luck with a kittiwake but a gang of juvenile herring gulls saved the day (for the kittiwake). Lots of gulls, razorbills, kittiwakes and gannets were feeding offshore, joined from about 4.30 by thousands of Manxies as they were heading generally SW. Also 3 choughs along coast path.
