Aberystwyth harbour mouth, 6:05pm Tuesday. Among the herring gulls sitting on the rocks where the two rivers meet was this female Goosander. It was easy to see when it showed its bright red regs, but I lost it for half and hour when it hunkered down in the seaweed.
