Whilst sorting through the photos I took last Saturday morning at Ynyslas at high tide, I was about to 'bin one' when I was surprised to find that one, of Ringed Plovers pitching in on the tide line, had a bird carrying some distinctive rings. It had a Red ring on the left leg and a Yellow flag on the right bearing the letters AVU. This is undoubtedly the same bird that John reported on Monday - that he too had seen on Saturday.
