Ynyslas and the Clettwr

Eight curlew sandpiper at Ynyslas first thing this morning with 3 sanderling and a turnstone though the flock of small waders were continuosly harried by a peregrine with small groups splitting off and flying south further down the beach. Later I ws joined by Roy Bamford and Bob Relph with Janet Baxter a few metres away hopefully getting more nice photo's of the waders. At the Clettwr there were 11 greenshank and a rather stunning perched kingfisher. Very little out at sea off Ynyslas with only a few gannet, sandwich tern and manx shearwater passing through.
