Clettwr pm

The Water Pipit was again feeding with 5 Meadow Pipits along the Clettwr riverbanks this afternoon. Also 2 Dippers, 2 Little Egrets, 3 Redshank, a Little Grebe on the river and about 20 Snipe.
The Lodge Farm fields were all frozen and largely empty, except for about 100 Lapwing that flew in, and a lot of corvids sitting around on fence posts. Beautiful orange sun going down over the snowy fields to the west.

The male Black Redstart was flitting around the Old College chimneys in the sun this morning.
