Fieldfares

There were c70 Fieldfare with a handful of Redwing alternately grubbing around in the grass and feeding on Hawthorn berries in a field about 2 miles along Artists Valley this morning. I used to see them on a splendid and ancient hedgerow on the farm at Ynys-hir but sadly the farmer has cut it all down and dug out the stumps. I really can't see why...............
