goldeneye

Llyn Eiddwen today....no celebs up here except for a splendid little female goldeneye diligently diving for her breakfast; oh and the kestrel dive bombing a kite that had something small, but no doubt edible, in its claws. The views were stupendous with a dusting of snow on Cader.
Down on Fanod were 20+ lapwing,16 greylags and 2 white geese, possible leucistics but I couldn't be sure whether they were greylags. Too neat to be Xmas dinners.
P.S
Mike, great pics of that most under-stated wader.
