Lapland Bunting

This morning Mervyn Lloyd and I went to Llanon to look for the Lapland Bunting that John Davis saw a couple of days ago. Some fencing contractors were on bird scaring duty there but we eventually found the Bunting feeding in stubble 3 fields south of the car parking area. A fine Merlin put in an appearance, he also did his best to scatter the smaller birds. As we drove out of the little car park we saw a Dipper by the stream to our left.
