There were 4 Snow Buntings today (Sunday 14th) at the Turn Car Park. The sea was much flatter but there were no Scoters at all, let alone a Surf Scoter. Still quite a few surfers about though.
At Ynys Hir, we saw plenty of Barnacle and Canada Geese, and finally caught up with the Greenland White Fronted Geese, although they were at a distance and towards a gorgeous sunset. Lots of Widgeon, Shelduck, Oystercatchers, Curlew, Lapwing etc and a really nice Starling display as we were walking back to the car park.
