Ynyslas/Aberleri
Down to Ynyslas again this morning where Wigeon, Teal, Mallard, Curlew, Redshank, Lapwing and a lone Red-breasted Merganser were garhered along the water's edge at Aberleri. Starlings and Linnets were still foraging in the salt grass - a Peregrine flew in and landed on a post close by, but it didn't cause the usual panic, perhaps they are conserving energy. Further along, at the end of the saltings, I stopped to play football with Buster. A female Hen Harrier interupted play, I watched as she flew over towards the dunes and disappeared near the golf course. From the Turn Car Park I counted 20 Common Scotter and 9 Great Crested Grebes on the sea and 4 Sanderling on the shore.
