This afternoon (Tuesday 30th) on the coastal path just beyond the lime kilns towards Llansanffraid I came across an absolutely gorgeous single goose on the pebbles. It was a startlingly brilliant white all over except for a couple of dark wing tips and had a red bill and legs. I managed to get a couple of distant photos with my compact before the battery ran out! (You should have heard the curses!).
