| I have just been reading your seabird sightings with interest and on Wednesday went for a snorkel to see if I could find the fish attracting the birds so close in. It was pretty murky off Borth beach but I found in some places the water was thick with small fry. Fish i.d is not my strong point but around the rocks, where it's clearer, I saw a lot of Sprat (which tend to shoal close inshore according to wiki). There are plenty of flat fish and also some massive shoals of Grey Mullet which will keep the Ospreys happy! Chris Wallbank |
