Ynyslas and borth
Hurrying back into the county after a morning spent paint-balling with my sons (don't ask) I managed to get to ynyslas at four for a spot of sea-watching. Still lots of manx shearwaters off-shore as well as 60 comic terns, of those close enough in to identify some 10 per cent were common with the rest arctic terns. Following a phone call from mike Bailey I went on to glandwr and managed to see two wood sandpipers that he had found earlier and amongst a few black-headed gulls coming in to bathe were three first-summer Mediterranean gulls. On the leri 7common sandpipers were feeding along with a single green sandpiper.
