Yesterday afternoon -the birds to be seen along the salting and up the Leri came in two's - Herons, Egret, Peregrines and Ruff- except for the lone Sandpiper other-wise very quiet. Poor photo due to the large blow up as pic taken from the top of the embankment.
Note added 28/8 - The Sandpiper is in fact a Little Stint! - Not the best of identification through a camera lens !
