On Friday an adult med gull at Llanon was carrying green 631 on its left leg. I have asked for details from Renaud, the med gull king of Europe, but I see from my records that I recorded it last Aug in the same place . It was born and ringed in Pas de Calais June 2009, spent the winter in Coruna N.Spain and returned up the French coast to Llanon thence back to Coruna for winter 2010/2011. Between France and Llanon there is a gap from May to Aug so its flight path is not known but hopefully a new report may throw some light on this as it may have been seen earlier this year.
