At Glandwr 2 Black-tailed godwit noted on the 8th were still present this evening, and 2 Dunlin and a Kingfisher were also there on the 9th. Water rail were also calling here today and at the pool beside the Cors Fochno circular path near Llancynfelyn. Unusually, 2 Tufted duck were also seen there. Last week on the 30th, a Cetti's Warbler was seen and heard at Aberleri about 150m south of the Leri railway bridge, where at least 3 water rail were also creating a lot of noise.
Clouded yellow and painted lady at Ynylsas today. Wheatear and c.120 golden plover yesterday.
