Raptors etc

At Mwnt first thing, 1 peregrine, 1 buzzard, 1 kite and 1 sparrowhawk, the resident kestrel and 2 chough. Large flocks of linnets, 2 wheatears, 4 juvenile stonechats, lots of meadow and rock pipits. A kestrel fed up with the strong winds south of the county decided to hover in economy mode hanging on to the telegraph poles. This afternoon at Pen Peles a hen harrier came in at speed off the sea (from NW direction), record photo only - too fast, wrong lens, large crop etc!
