Ravens and kites

The recent heat wave gave rise to an extra cut of grassland,a sound we don't expect on the 1st of October, not even in the lower Rheidol valley. The Kites too were trying to make the most of this feeding ground, but in vain as they were prevented from getting low enough.I counted at least a dozen kites soaring and twisting as two ravens showed just how efficiently they could round them up and within 5 minutes the sky had been cleared.
