Still nesting

Despite the chilly autumn breeze a brood of Swallows were still being fed in the nest today in Henllan, in the porch at 2 Railway Terrace. Assuming they fledge successfully, do such late birds ever get to South Africa I wonder? It's a heck of a journey. There were 9 Golden Plovers nearby at Aberbanc.
