As already reported this evening one of the Short Eared Owl was hunting around the golf links. It was possibly the same one that I watched for about half an hour around the back of the caravan site. Whenever it dropped on some prey it was harrassed by several crows. At least three times it was forced to drop its kill. The photo was during one of it's 'resting sessions' - a bit far off and in poor light so not too good.
