On my return from my visit to Norfolk (always fantastic in winter) I had a message from Will Davies (Will Tregaron) that 18 Whooper Swans are wintering on Cors Caron and up to 4 Hen Harriers are present. Also, by the Teifi, between Tregaron and Llandewi, a shooting party on 7th flushed a Bittern!
The lone Whooper Swan is still up here at Trisant, moving from one lake to another.
