Yesterday's excitement was provided by an immature Egyptian Vulture that flew over the garden. Despite having obvious jessies and a bell the site of this exotic tangling with the local buzzards and kites was quite something. At one stage it even landed in the tree at the end of the garden - this is when the cat decided to head indoors.
Today's fare was a little more expected with White Wagtails, Wheatears and Med Gulls at Llanrhystud, a pair of Shovelers off shore were a little more unusual. Five Sandwich Terns at Aberaeron were my first of the year and the 2 winter Iceland Gull was still at New Quay fish factory.
