Geese and Raptors

Great afternoon at Borth Bog/Leri today. Finally seen the Greenland
White-fronts!! There were 4 feeding with Canadas adjacent to the train
track, visible from the public footpath, (as reported yesterday).
Surprised how close I could get to this very wild birds (<200 yards). Had
a ringtail Hen Harrier in the same telescope view behind the geese. In the
same field a female Merlin also stopped briefly and to cap it all off; a
lone Pink-footed Goose flew in over the Leri and alighted with the amassed
Canadas and White-fronts. Lots of Shelduck, Teal and Red Kites about with
1 Little Egret and a female Pintail on the pools.
