Glaucous & Iceland Gulls on the Teifi

High tide was 15:42, just about covered the main sand bar, so as the tide retreated fresh sand exposed !
Perfect for Teifi evening gulls !
16:41 the 1st year Glaucous Gull flew in, 5 mins on the water before a preen on the sand.
Viewable form the GVP, and The Webley Hotel, Jon G positioned here.
Then a 2nd year Iceland Gull appeared on the sand...and rapidly fell asleep !
Numbers of small gulls much diminshed now, few Common Gulls, 1 adult Med. Gull.
Shelduck numbers increasing, the main flock now 36 birds in the estuary, also a pair of Goosander off the roost -unusual this far down the estuary -
