Llanerchaeron
Dippers were very noticeable by their presence, constantly zipping up and down. I wondered if there might be a couple of pairs about. One bird was carrying a beech leaf in its bill. Nesting material? Also Grey Wagtail, single Crossbill and a hawk that looked exciting at first but was a female Sparrowhawk. This was a species that proved quite elusive when I was surveying tetrads but when I look back at my notes from previous years I notice that I record them regularly at this time of year whilst driving about at work. Seven since the start of February this year.
